I spent a chapter of my life in Austria, a country I felt destined to travel to from a very young age and where I felt very creative and very much “at home”.  My fiancé was Austrian and both he and his Dad were musicians.  His Dad being a pioneer of electronic music.  It was a magical time for me to be surrounded by so many creative people and to have found my first true love.

On 1st August, 2001, after planning our wedding the night before, my life changed overnight. My fiance, Martin "Herbie" Bognermayr, creative soul, musician and very special person who was my dream, became my angel.  Both Herbie and his Dad tragically died during my time there and I left Austria a year later, with a rucksack on my back feeling a shadow of the person I once was.  My full story can be found here. I eventually moved back to England where, quite a few years later, I was blessed to meet my now husband.  We now have our teenage children and two fabulous rescue dogs!

I have turned my grief, love, thoughts, ideas and lived experiences into a range of products using my Creative Emotions.

I am a Reiki Master Practitioner and Access Bars Practitioner who not only practices locally but also works with distance Reiki healing.  I am a certified member of the Reiki Federation and am currently working with them to look at the sustainability of Reiki.

​

I have a passion for spirals (symbolising nature, creativity, evolution and femininity) and sunflowers (see my Sunflower poem), the seaside and being creative with my emotions.

​
